The VarioSpinner from Wingman Products is the world’s first length-adjustable spinning mono wing foil harness line. It combines the freedom of the Spinner with the precision of a 2:1 pulley system, offering 60 mm of smooth, on-the-fly adjustment.
Originally envisioned by Balz Müller, the VarioSpinner was his dream setup: a harness line that spins freely and adjusts in length. It blends creative freedom with pro-level control.
Advanced Features of the VarioSpinner
- Hooked-In Jibes and Tacks: Stay connected through transitions without unhooking. Spinner-style rotation maintains lift and flow, helping you exit tacks and jibes as cleanly and quickly as you enter them.
- Spinning Freedom + Trim Control: Combines free spinning with 60 mm of length adjustment via a 2:1 pulley system — ideal for fine-tuning your harness line position and trim on the fly.
- Auto-Reset Spin Function: After unhooking, the line rotates back to its original position. This means it’s always ready for your next hook-in — no adjustments, no hassle.
- Adjustable Length + Retracting System: Keep the harness line at a shorter setting for direct control during straight-line riding. Then, before transitions like jibes or tacks, extend it to give yourself more space and smoother handling. A telescopic return with internal rubber retracts the line when unhooked, keeping it compact and out of the way.
- Mono-Harness Line Design: With a single attachment point, you get more precise, sensitive, and direct steering compared with traditional two-point harness line systems.
- Power Point Adjustment on the Fly: To adjust the power point while riding, we recommend pairing the harness line with the Wingman BoomCover. This enables smooth side-to-side movement of the line on the boom, letting you fine-tune your wing’s power point across different courses like upwind, downwind, or halfwind. The result: better trim control and more efficient riding in any condition.
- Parawing Compatible: Fully compatible with Parawings. The 60 mm suspension compresses when depowered, maintaining line tension and helping to prevent accidental unhooking.
